Invitation for Writing Intensive Consultation
The Campus Writing Program invites faculty currently teaching WI or faculty interested in using writing to teach course content to participate in consultations at the Conley House or in one’s department. At these meetings, we offer to help faculty
- Transform non-WI courses into WI courses
- Better manage grading and assessment of student writing
- Design syllabi and assignments so that course content is balanced with writing
- Integrate revision strategies into assignments
- Integrate technology into the teaching of course content with writing

Writing Intensive (WI) courses help produce an educated, articulate citizenry capable of reasoning critically, solving complex problems,and communicating with clear and effective language.
Writing is the basis of all work. We write to learn, and we write in discipline specific ways.
