No matter the discipline, course format, or number of students, there never seems to be enough time to meet the grading demands of WI courses. In this workshop, we will begin with a discussion on the challenges of grading in the WI classroom, asking participants to share their particular struggles. Then we will explore a few strategies to provide useful student feedback without reading—or fretting over—every sentence of a student composition.
Feel free to bring your lunch. Water and coffee will be available. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
