The Campus Writing Board expects that faculty work within their department to determine which courses should be proposed as WI. Though the simple inclusion of writing does not make a course Writing Intensive, courses about writing are not excluded from consideration by the Board. Any course that fulfills the WI guidelines may be proposed for WI designation.
